MIXING-DISPERSION KNEADER

Mixing Dispersion Kneader are specially designed for mixing variety of materials ranging from low viscosity adhesive to high viscosity polymers. These versatile machines can be used in both rubber as well as plastic industries. Dispersion kneaders perfectly controls mixing and blending of raw material to form uniform compound mixture ensuring better dispersion. The machine consists of a mixing chamber fitted with rotary blades, made of high grade steel. Mixing of the raw material takes place in this chamber, the blended compound is then cooled with the help of water. The mixing chamber comprises of a pneumatically or hydraulically controlled pressure lid, which helps to maintain pressure on the raw material during mixing..

Extruder

Rubber Extruder is used Extruded rubber productsas per design and their shape. It will differ from molded rubber products based on the process where extruded parts are forced through a die of the required cross section under pressure of an extruder. Often extruded products are unvulcanized prior to being extruded, leaving the rubber in a soft and pliable state post extrusion. If this is indeed the case, the finished extruded products will normally need to be vulcanized before they are rendered usable.

VULCANISERS

Vulcanisers / Auto Clave are normally designed & build for a working steam pressure of 5kg/sq.cm & are tested hydraulically before dispatch for a pressure of 7.5kg/sq.cm and also Vulcanisers used with higher working steam pressures as per customer’s requirement.

BOILER

A boiler or steam generator is a device used to create steam by applying heat energy to water. Although the definitions are somewhat flexible, it can be said that older steam generators were commonly termed boilers and worked at low to medium pressure (7–2,000 kPa or 1–290 psi) but, at pressures above this, it is more usual to speak of a steam generator. A boiler or steam generator is used wherever a source of steam is required. The form and size depends on the application: mobile steam engines such as steam locomotives, portable engines and steam-powered road vehicles typically use a smaller boiler that forms an integral part of the vehicle; stationary steam engines, industrial installations and power stations will usually have a larger separate steam generating facility connected to the point-of-use by piping .

MUFFLE FURNACE

Muffle Furnace is used to Vulcanized rubber or rubber products are tested in the laboratories before commencing the process of manufacturing for physical analysis, chemical analysis, and mechanical measuring, etc. Before the manufacturing process, the rubbers are tested to determine various parameters of the material such as moisture volume, melting point, dry mass volume, the percentage of ash and other volatile substances, determination of liquid sample viscosity, the specification of effective substance volume, specifications of heavy metals and rubber toxicants.

HOT AIR OVEN

The accuracy of grain moisture measurement is animportant factor in processing operations. According tothe definition, moisture content is expressed on awetbasis or a dry basis. The wet basis moisture content(w.b.) is defined as the ratio of the water weight to theinitial total weight of the kernels. The dry basis moisturecontent (d.b.) is defined as the ratio of the water weightto the dried weight of the kernels. Only wet basis moisture content is used in this study.

OSCILLATION DISC RHEOMETER

Rheometer measures the cure characteristics of a rubber compound in conformity with international standards. The measure of the vulcanization is carried out by measuring the change in the mechanical characteristics of the sample. The instrument permits to apply a cyclic strain to a test piece and to measure the associated force. The test is carried out at a constant temperature and the measure of stiffness recorded continuously as a function of time. measures the cure characteristics of a rubber compound in conformity with international standards. OPTICAL PYROMETER

A pyrometer is a device that is used for the temperature measurement of an object. The device actually tracks and measures the amount of heat that is radiated from an object. The thermal heat radiates from the object to the optical system present inside the pyrometer..

TENSILE TESTING MACHINE

Tensile Testing Machines that are using for determining tensile strength and elongation of rubber Products with capacity upto100 KN, it can test material in conformity with IS or other standard.

SPECIFIC GRAVITY BALANCE

Specific Gravity Balance Using a simple and quick mean to read directly the specific gravity of rubber and other elastomers. The time taken to find out specific gravity of a sample is only about half a minute. The balance consists of a rigid scale with a specific gravity (SG) printed on standing vertically on a heavy base plate.

ABRSION TESTER

Abrasion tester determines the resistance of elastomers in regard with the frictional loss on rubber products, such as tires, conveyor belts, hoses, footwear, floor covering etc. Since wear is always a result of abrasion, different test methods have been developed for the simulation of long term wear..

WATER IMMERSION TESTER

The volume and hardness-change values determined by this test method do not duplicate similar changes that occur in elastomeric seals under actual service conditions. However, they can be correlated in many instances. In one such instance, the volume-change values determined by the antecedent of this test method correlated (r 2 = 0.99) with those that occurred during a vehicle test.7 Because of wide variations in service conditions and differences in grease and elastomer formulations, correlations between the results obtained with this test method and particular applications should be determined on an individual basis..

These thickness gauges are especially handy for measuring thickness of small parts, metal, rubber, vinyl, paper, foil and other sheet material. The objects to be measured is clamped by simple lever operation. The measured values are read directly on the dial gauge. Since the anvil and the contact point are adjusted for parallelism, accurate measured values are obtained. .

COMPRESSION TESTING APPRATUS

Compression set tests are intended to measure the ability of rubber compounds to retain elastic properties after prolonged action of compressive stresses. The actual stressing service may involve the maintenance of a definite deflection, the constant application of a known force, or the rapidly repeated deformation and recovery resulting from intermittent compressive forces. Though the latter dynamic stressing, like the others, produces compression set, its effects as a whole are simulated more closely by compression flexing or hysteresis tests. Therefore, compression set tests are considered to be mainly applicable to service conditions involving static stresses. Tests are frequently conducted at elevated temperatures.

COLD RESISTANCE CHAMBER

Hot and cold chamber are used to test automobile components, materials like rubber, plastics and metal parts in high and low temperatures by automatic cycle operations / manually for certain time periods.

HARDNESS TESTERS

International Rubber Hardness Degrees (IRHD) test method provides a highly repeatable measurement on rubber parts of various shapes and sizes. It is especially important in determining the hardness of rubber O-rings. The IRHD method employs an initial test load that is applied to the specimen via an indenter. The test is zeroed at this indentation position, then the test force is applied. The distance between the two applied forces is measured and converted to an IRHD hardness value.
Shore hardness is a measure of the resistance of a material to penetration of a spring loaded needle-like indenter. Hardness of Polymers (rubbers, plastics) is usually measured by Shore scales. Shore A scale is used for testing soft Elastomers (rubbers) and other soft polymers. Hardness of hard elastomers and most other polymer materials (Thermoplastics, Thermosets) is measured by Shore D scale.
